The Rosso di Montalcino DOC Campo ai Sassi from the renowned historic Tuscan winery Marchesi de' Frescobaldi is a highly prestigious wine with a marked youthful note. Produced from the vinification of 100% Sangiovese grapes, the fruit of vines grown on the CastelGiocondo estate, this red is a very expressive label, which well represents the typicality of the Montalcino area. Excellent to drink today, thanks to its good evolution, it is very interesting if left to mature in the cellar for a few years. After a careful harvest of the best grapes, these follow the classic red vinification with maceration on the skins, finally the wine ages in wood for a year, then it is bottled. Before being placed on the market, the Rosso di Montalcino DOC Campo ai Sassi is still aged for some time in glass. The result is a perfectly balanced, elegant and fresh label, a wine of medium structure, lively and with an immediate sip that is always able to surprise. A red to try.
