Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

"La Groletta Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Corte Giara" is a fine red wine produced by the Allegrini winery , a historic company in constant evolution and research. The Allegrini family has been running this wine estate in the heart of the Vapolicella for a long time; nowadays it is managed by the latest generation, that is by the children Franco and Marilisa who have continued the historical excellence of the cellar with passion and dedication.

The Allegrini company owns more than 100 hectares of land on the hills of Valpolicella, in the province of Verona; the vineyards are cultivated with natural and ecological methods, the techniques used in fact respect the environment and the rhythms of nature. Allegrini is one of the major Italian wineries for recognition and quality, as well as for export abroad; to meet this huge demand, several lines were founded, including Corte Giara. "Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Corte Giara La Groletta" is a complex and delicate wine, made from the best Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes; these are cultivated in clayey and calcareous soils. The wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature; after which the refinement takes place for five months, always in steel, to then pass in wood for fifteen months and finally in the bottle for another six. Sumptuous, structured, intense, imposing wine, suitable for great local meat dishes.
