The Mosesco Dolcetto d'Alba DOC red wine from the Prunotto winery is produced in the municipality of Rodello, in the heart of the Langhe. The grape variety is 100% Dolcetto which is harvested in mid-September. The grapes are pressed and after destemming they reach a maximum temperature of 27°C during fermentation. The maceration takes place for six days and then it is aged in large oak barrels for six months. Before being put on the market, the wine rests for another four months in the bottle. The Mosesco Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is an elegant, balanced red with excellent persistence that can be drunk immediately or it can rest in the cellar for up to three to four years. This wine is one of the great classics of the Langhe, loved by the Piedmontese and beyond, for its harmonious characteristics and versatility, qualities that make it a still red suitable for any occasion.
