Rhone Valley 

This area is a worldwide reference above all for the wines produced from Syrah grapes, which here take on truly particular and above all unique characteristics. In the south of the region, on the other hand, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre grapes are mainly grown. We highlight a particularity: in the northern part, the wines are generally produced from grapes of a single vine, therefore in purity, while in the southern part the tradition of assembling several grapes prevails, as in the case of the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine, produced from 13 different types of grapes , both black and white. However, not only red wines are produced in the Rhône Valley: in fact it is precisely in this area, in particular in the Condrieu area, that one of the most famous white grape varieties in France is grown, Viognier , with qualitative results recognized in Worldwide. Among the most representative denominations we find: Hermitage , Côte-Rôtie , Cornas , Condrieu and Château-Grillet and, to the south, the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape with its famous red wines.
