It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Aetneus Etna Rosso DOC is a red wine produced by the I Custodi delle Vigne dell'Etna winery, strongly committed to exalting the peculiarities of local viticulture. This wine is largely obtained from the vinification of Nerello Mascalese grapes, to which is added a small percentage of Nerello Cappuccio grapes. The ancient vines are cultivated with the traditional sapling system and have their roots in sandy soils. The volcanic substrate rich in minerals ensures maximum nourishment for the plants. In the first half of October the bunches are selected and harvested by hand. Once they arrive in the cellar, they are destemmed and partially pressed. Fermentation with maceration on the skins in steel tanks lasts just under two weeks. The wine first rests for two years in oak tonneaux and at least another two years in the bottle. Aetneus Etna Rosso DOC is an elegant, intense, rightly tannic wine and therefore has considerable potential for further refinement of up to ten years.
