Alta Langa Bianco DOCG Extra Brut Subscribe 2018

Alta Langa Bianco DOCG is an extra brut sparkling wine offered by the Abbona winery , an Italian company founded in 1970, thanks to the passion for wine and the territory of its founders. Today the winery is managed by Marziano Abbona and his daughters who, with tradition and experience, continue to produce wines of great quality, recognized and in demand all over the world. The vineyards of the Marziano Abbona estate extend for 52 hectares in the municipalities of Novello, Dogliani and Monforte d'Alba; the techniques used for cultivation are all aimed at respecting the environment and waiting for the natural rhythms of the land. The cellar is instead located in an old farmhouse, which integrates naturally with the surrounding landscape; it includes an ancient part and a more modern one, expanded over the years. The sparkling wine is made with a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, grown in the municipality of Dogliani; the fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature, finally resting on the lees in the bottle for 48 months: this is how Alta Langa Bianco DOCG Extra Brut is obtained, a fresh and aromatic sparkling wine, elegant and structured, with a very fine and persistent perlage.
