It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Günther Jauch's Riesling is one of the spearheads of Von Othegraven's production. White wine, it is obtained 100% from Riesling grapes, passion and specialty of the farm. One of the peculiarities that distinguishes the wine is the authenticity with which it is produced. It is fermented for a long time so that the natural characteristics of the grape can triumph in all their essence. Furthermore, only indigenous yeasts are used, a sign of the attention paid to the protection of the natural peculiarities of the wine. Günther Jauch's Riesling from Von Othegraven is an intense and unique wine. The nose highlights ripe fruit, delicate herbal tones and a pronounced hint of mineral slate. On the palate it highlights white and yellow fruits such as pear, apple and peach and exotic ones, such as passion fruit and mango. The fine spiciness, the elegant acidity and the delicate fruitiness on the palate are harmonious in a beautiful contrast. The wine is enormously long and beautifully layered, but not too intense as to be heavy. It can be appreciated up to 5/6 years after the harvest. Aging, in fact, manages to make the most of all the organoleptic characteristics.
