Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Valpolicella, birthplace of many excellent wines, offers connoisseurs an extraordinary red: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG. This is the most renowned creation of the Cà La Bionda winery, a solid family-run business in Marano. On the gentle slopes of the Veronese hills, with calcareous-loamy soil and significant temperature ranges, the passionate Castellani family has been working for about twenty years exclusively with certified organic methods. The blend of grapes used for this important wine is: 70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone and 10% between Rondinella and Molinara. The grapes are placed in wooden boxes for 3-4 months for a slight drying with a consequent increase in the sugar and aromatic concentration, then alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel tanks. The refinement of this amarone involves 36 months in oak barrels and a further 8 months directly in the bottle. Intense ruby red in color, the aroma is equally intense, with important notes of black cherry, candied red fruits, toasted almonds and sweet spices. The taste expresses all its intensity, it is robust with a great structure, soft, warm and of great persistence.
