Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Case Vecie is an elegant red wine produced by the Venetian winery Brigaldara . It is the fruit of a blend that includes the three native varieties typical of the denomination, namely Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. On the vineyards that give the wine its name, located 450 meters above sea level, near Grezzana, the vines are cultivated with the Guyot system which optimizes the benefits of the south-east exposure. Towards the beginning of October the manual harvest is carried out, with selection of the best grapes destined for drying in boxes, in the appropriate fruit cellars. This is followed by the vinification which begins with the long alcoholic fermentation in contact with the skins. The refinement is divided into two phases, the first of which involves a rest of 2 years in small wooden barrels, while the second involves a passage in large barrels always lasting 2 years. Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Case Vecie is an intense and fragrant red that lends itself to long evolutions for many years in the cellar.
