Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is one of the flagship labels of Albino Armani , a historic winery in the Adige Valley, present in the area for over 400 years. To produce this red, a blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes is used, grown in the Veronese pergola system. The vineyards are located on terraces bordered by the marogne, the typical dry stone walls that form the slopes of the Valpolicella hills. In these areas, the soil is volcanic in nature and enriched by numerous limestone deposits. The mild and temperate climate allows for perfect ripening of the grapes which are carefully selected in the vineyard. After the harvest, the bunches rest in the lofts to favor drying and a higher concentration of sugars and aromas within a few months. In the cellar, the wine ferments and ages for many months in large wooden barrels. Albino Armani Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is a well-structured red, pleasant when young, but excellent after an evolution of 7-8 years in the cellar.
