Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
The Barbaresco DOCG della Tradizione is a red wine with an important structure, made by the historic Piedmontese cellar Marchesi di Barolo . It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, which are cultivated using the Guyot system. The plots are located in a hilly area, where the soils are characterized by the presence of quartz, silt and sandstone. When they reach the ideal level of ripeness, the bunches are harvested by hand. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are pressed and then left to ferment and macerate for 8 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation follows, which involves the use of special vitrified cement vats. For ageing, the company relies on fine French oak barrels, where the wine rests for at least a year before being bottled. Excellent right from the start, Barbaresco DOCG della Tradizione reserves the best surprises for those who know how to wait up to 6-7 years.
