Barbaresco DOCG Bordini vineyard La Spinetta 2019

Vigneto Bordini Barbaresco DOCG is a red with excellent structure and elegance, produced by the La Spinetta winery; it is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes. This autochthonous variety is grown entirely in the Bordini plot in the municipality of Neive. The vines find the perfect environment on sandy, marly and calcareous soils. The meticulous work between the rows and the attention during the harvest complete a respectful viticulture. In the cellar, the grapes are quickly macerated and then fermented for two weeks in special containers that allow for temperature control. This is followed by the passage of malolactic fermentation, which takes place in oak barrels of fine French wood, in the second passage. In the same barrels the wine ages for 20 months, to then continue its evolution in glass for another 6 months after bottling. Vigneto Bordini Barbaresco DOCG is excellent to be enjoyed immediately, but has such a longevity as to reserve the best surprises after a rest of at least 6-7 years.
