It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barbaresco Rabajà DOCG is a red wine produced by Giuseppe Cortese , a winery inspired by an unconventional concept of viticulture. This label is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, a native vine which expresses itself very finely on soils rich in marine deposits. The vines are rigorously cultivated by the company, which intends to preserve the delicate ecosystem of this area of the Langhe. After careful manual selection of the best bunches, the grapes are transported to the cellar. Here the vinification begins with the fermentation. For this phase, stainless steel tanks are used, equipped with devices that help control the temperature. The refinement lasts from 20 to 22 months and takes place in Slavonian oak barrels, to then continue for another 10 months in the bottle. Barbaresco Rabajà DOCG is excellent to be enjoyed immediately after bottling, but reserves very pleasant surprises when it is kept for a few years in the cellar.
