Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Barbera d'Alba DOC Gallina is a red wine with intense and complex aromas, made by the La Spinetta winery. It is obtained from the vinification of Barbera grapes, a native variety with unmistakable aromas. The vineyards that give the wine its name are located in the heart of the denomination, more precisely in the municipality of Neive. The south facing plots rise approximately 270 meters above sea level and boast substrates rich in limestone and minerals. When they reach the ideal level of ripeness, only the best bunches are harvested by hand for transport to the cellar. Here the alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins lasts about 8 days and takes place inside modern steel tanks. The refinement phase follows, which involves a rest of a year and a half in fine first-passage French oak barriques. Perfect right from the start, Barbera d'Alba DOC Gallina manages to pleasantly surprise those who decide to wait over 2-3 years.
