Barolo DOCG Negretti 2015

The Barolo DOCG red wine of the Negretti winery is obtained by using the delicious Nebbiolo grapes in an exclusive way, as per the regulations. The cultivation of the vines takes place on the prestigious hills around the municipality of La Morra, where optimal growth is historically ensured thanks to the clayey soils and the particular microclimatic conditions. This relatively young winery carries out its activity with constant commitment, fully enhancing the famous local products and always seeking excellence in production. Barolo DOCG follows precise production regulations that combine tradition and innovation. After the harvest, which starts only when the right degree of ripeness has been reached, the bunches are softly pressed. We move on to fermentation at a controlled temperature and then carry out an initial refinement in Allier barriques and subsequently in larger oak barrels, for another 18 months. In this way a robust, austere, full-bodied wine is obtained, but at the same time balanced, elegant and fine as only Nebbiolo can be. Wedding Hunt!
