'Ben' Vermentino Toscana IGT Nittardi 2023

Toscana Vermentino IGT "Ben" is a product of the Nittardi winery, characterized by a fresh and delicate body and an averagely persistent finish. The white, structured and with a young sip, was born in the heart of Tuscany, an area known since the 16th century for the creation of fine and elegant wines. The mild climate of the place, the pleasant breezes and the fertility of the soil are decidedly favorable factors for viticulture operations. The grapes reach an excellent state of ripeness also thanks to the use of the biological method, which provides only organic fertilizers and treatments. For the Toscana Vermentino IGT "Ben" steel containers are used for fermentation and refinement: the latter, however, ends in the bottle just before being marketed. Pure Vermentino vines are used, originating from the Iberian peninsula and used for the production of excellent quality whites. Toscana Vermentino IGT "Ben" is so called because it is desired, coveted, appreciated: "ben", in fact, is nothing but the abbreviation of "beniamino".
