'Bianco Mediterraneo' Tenuta delle Ripalte 2018

The Bianco Mediterraneo Costa Toscana IGT is one of the best proposals made by the Tenuta delle Ripalte winery. The Tuscan maison is located on the island of Elba and its main estates extend in the south-eastern part of the territory. The optimal ventilation conditions, combined with the proximity to the sea and the favorable climate, allow for an ideal development of the grapes. The vine from which the white wine of the cellar is born is Vermentino, widespread throughout the Tyrrhenian area, whose 100% bunches are selected during the harvest. Once the bunches have been destemmed and softly pressed, the refinement of the wine can begin. It is first subjected to an aging of 5 months in steel tanks, to then be transferred to glass bottles. Aging can last up to a couple of years in the cellar, but the product is also suitable for immediate consumption. Fresh and easy to drink, the Bianco Mediterraneo Costa Toscana IGT is excellent above all for informal occasions.
