Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
The Brunello di Montalcino from the renowned Tuscan winery Poggio di Sotto is a red wine of great value. This label, obtained from the vinification of 100% Sangiovese grapes (as per the specification), is the perfect synthesis of a vine that embodies the history of the vinification of a legendary territory, such as that of Montalcino. Fruit of bunches of vineyards cultivated in the countryside of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, this very expressive wine is a terroir red with great longevity. Brunello di Montalcino takes shape from carefully selected grapes which, once in the cellar, are vinified in wood. As per tradition, the very long process of maceration on the skins and a spontaneous fermentation follow, after which the wine ages for about 48 months in large oak barrels, after which it is bottled. Before being placed on the market, it is still aged in glass for a minimum of 8 months. The result is a complex, extremely elegant, full-bodied and intense red, a refined wine with a soft sip and great persistence.
