The Riserva DOP Salice Salentino from the Conti Zecca winery is a red with a rich body and a persistent finish, appreciated by all wine lovers for its soft and velvety character. As can also be seen from the denomination, the wine was born in the area of Salice Salentino, in the province of Lecce, where the family at the head of the company has been operating for five centuries. The ancient traditions, the enhancement of history and the cult of the terroir are the basis of the quality of the product: the latter represents a clear expression of the delicate balance that unites man and nature. This elegant red is made from 75% Negroamaro grapes, with the addition of 25% Malvasia vines. The raw material, grown on alluvial soils, is subjected to a soft pressing and fermentation in steel containers. The Riserva DOP Salice Salentino is then left to rest in oak barriques, a process which gives the final flavor a unique harmony of its kind. The result is a structured, full-bodied wine with soft and spicy notes, with hints of smoke. Ideal for large grills.
