Description

Moscato d'Asti DOCG Cascina Fiori is a great classic from the Oddero winery, whose commitment translates into the recovery of historical vines of the region and the maintenance of the most ancient winemaking traditions. Located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, the lands of the estate are characterized by prehistoric marine sediments and the presence of many minerals such as sodium, magnesium, potassium or manganese which, together with a microclimate suitable for the ripening of these grapes, help to produce wines with peculiar organoleptic qualities. Moscato Bianco, from which the Moscato d'Asti DOCG Cascina Fiori is born in purity, is an ancient vine, already known in the times of the ancient Romans and characterized by beautiful amber acids, whose color is found in its wines. This, in particular, links its name to the vineyard where the grapes are grown, in the municipality of Trezzo Tinella Cascina Fiori. Before being bottled and marketed, it undergoes a careful vinification process which also includes fermentation in steel vats; the result is a great white wine, fresh and aromatic, also suitable as an aperitif.
