Catarratto Terre Siciliane IGT Curatolo Arini 2023

Terre Siciliane Catarratto IGT is one of the finest labels of the Vito Curatolo Arini winery, which has been operating in Sicily for over 100 years. The main estates of the company are located in Marsala, a locality in the province of Trapani famous for its large wine productions, in particular fortified wines. The warm Mediterranean climate, combined with the sandy and skeletal soil, is one of the perfect elements for the development of the rows. At the base of the product is the 100% pure Catarratto grape, autochthonous white berried grape of the province of Trapani. In early September, when the grapes have reached the optimal degree of ripeness, they are selected by hand. The bunches are gently pressed and the must, once fermented, ages for a few weeks in large steel tanks. Terre Siciliane Catarratto IGT is a delicate and medium-bodied white wine, with excellent drinkability and personality, I would say "throughout the meal".
