'Colmatìss' Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC La Tunella 2021

Colmatiss Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is an aromatic white wine produced by the La Tunella winery. The label is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, an international variety that lends itself to achieving excellent quality levels on the mineral-rich soils of the appellation. The vineyards enjoy optimal conditions for producing grapes with perfect sugar concentration. Only when they are fully ripe are the best bunches selected and picked by hand. After destemming, the grapes are placed in cold maceration for at least 3 days. Alcoholic fermentation follows in Slavonian oak barrels. These precious wooden containers are also used during the refinement, where the wine remains for about 15 months. Already excellent after bottling, Colmatiss Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC boasts the potential to reserve pleasant surprises after 4-5 years of evolution in the cellar.
