A red soil constantly exposed to the sun is the typical place where the vine that supplies the grapes that give life to the Primitivo 'Es' of the Gianfranco Fino winery grows. The owner of this company has managed, over the years, to establish himself and to enlarge his structure thanks to an obsessive care for the vineyard and thanks to the continuous search for the qualitative improvement of the product. The Fino vineyards have sapling vines with an average age of about 60 years and are cultivated with a technique that tends to make them grow low to provide a highly qualitative raw material. Experience, tradition and modernity are an explosive mix to obtain a excellent red wine like this, thanks to a production technique meticulously followed since the harvest. In fact, the bunches are carefully selected and dried directly in the vineyard, then fermented in steel and subsequently macerated and refined on the skins. It ends with aging of the wine in oak barrels. The result is a full-bodied wine, excellently balanced with sapidity, in balance between freshness and sapidity.
