'Faye Rosso' Vineyards of the Dolomites IGT Pojer and Sandri 2017

Rosso Faye wine is born at the foot of the Dolomites, in a unique and evocative landscape, produced by a symbolic cellar of Trentino: Pojer and Sandri. This rich ruby red wine is made from a mix of numerous grapes, all from vineyards located on the Faedo slopes, skilfully assembled to give it its elegant taste. Half of the grapes that compose it derive from cabernet sauvignon, while the remaining part is composed of merlot, lagrein and cabernet franc. At Pojer and Sandri, tradition still has a strong impact on wine production. That's why, the harvest is done by hand and is followed by maceration and fermentation in oak barrels for 1 year. Rosso Faye has a ruby color and violet reflections. The taste is pleasantly tannic, dry and dry, but with a marked persistence. A licorice finish makes it elegant and refined. To try!
