'Philemone' Vermentino Costa Toscana IGT La Fralluca 2020

Vermentino Filemone Costa Toscana IGT is a wine that is born in the La Fralluca di Suvereto cellar. It is a very young company that works the land using only natural and sustainable methods. The grapes come from the Vermentino vines, grown on medium-textured soils, rich in limestone and stones. The particularly mild climate of the Maremma also contributes to giving the product greater structure. After the manual harvest, the soft pressing of the grapes takes place, followed by the decantation phase. Subsequently, we proceed with the alcoholic fermentation in steel vats, while the final phase involves the refinement by means of a stop of the wine, lasting 6 months, always in steel tanks, with frequent bâttonage. Vermentino Filemone Costa Toscana IGT is an enveloping and elegant wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for a few years before being tasted.
