Gevrey Chambertin AOC CHANSON PERE ' FILS 2013

One of the most appreciated wines of Burgundy, the Gevrey Chambertin '13 Chanson is one of the excellent products of the Chanson Père & Fils maison. The place of production of the transalpine label extends between the municipalities of Brochon and Gevrey Chambertin, in an extraordinary terroir, unique in the world, with calcareous and clayey soils. At the base of the label, with AOC certification, there is the classic (for these areas) 100% pure Pinot Noir. The vinification of Gevrey Chambertin '13 Chanson starts from the fermentation tanks, in which the whole bunches are placed. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 16 months and this allows for an important evolution of the organoleptic elements of the wine itself. When tasted, the drinkability is excellent and the flavor is full and rich, with a structure that becomes gradually stronger with increasing ageing. The spicy and floral sensations are soft, with pleasant hints of both violets and berries. Elegance and finesse dominate, even if the tannic texture is present and important.
