Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The red wine Grignè DOC Grignolino D'Asti from the Montalbera winery is obtained exclusively from native Grignolino grapes grown on the hills of Castagnole Monferrato. This winery boasts a long winemaking tradition, spanning 6 generations, which has always aimed at respecting the territory and its traditions, as well as seeking technological innovation. The Grignolino vineyards in Castagnole grow strong and produce delicious grapes. The production cycle is followed with care and attention to arrive at a wine of excellent quality. After the harvest, we move on to the vinification in steel, to then move on to a phase of maturation, always in steel tanks, to then end with an aging in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied, intense and aromatic wine, with a slight aftertaste of spices that makes it perfectly harmonious and ideal to accompany the main first courses of Piedmontese cuisine.
