'Inspiration de Saison' Champagne AOC Extra Brut Apollonis-Michel Loriot 2012 Boxed

Unusual blend for this excellent sparkling wine from the small producer Loriot who dedicates body and soul above all to enhancing Pinot Meunier. We find 35% Chardonnay and 65% Pinot Meunier, but above all the particularity of this winemaker lies in the fact that Michel is firmly convinced that classical music, in the vineyard and in the cellar, can positively influence the grapes and the wine and therefore, for this reason, delightful melodies accompany all the various stages of production, from the vineyard to the cellar. These are mostly great classics by Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Mahler and Vivaldi, carefully chosen by Michel and suitably matched to the various situations and various labels. This sparkling wine is also interesting for the very low sugar dosage (extra brut) which delivers it to us clean, vibrant, very dry. Rich and pleasantly balanced in aromas, it immediately boasts a perfect harmony between the fruity component and freshness. Very fine and elegant perlage. A must try.
