Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Carignano del Sulcis with Denomination of Controlled Origin, Riserva di Argiolas is a great wine that has the merit of enhancing a great native Sardinian vine such as carignano. The grapes, rigorously harvested by hand, are transported to the cellar and pressed. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks, while the subsequent malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete containers. About 12 months in barrique and a further period of rest in the bottle conclude the refinement period, before being put on the market. It has a deep and intriguing bouquet of black fruit, licorice, spices and aromatic herbs. The sip is soft and structured, with good freshness and long sapidity. Wine that can age very well, but ready today for sumptuous grilled or well-structured meat dishes. Excellent!
