'Jesera' Pinot Grigio Collio DOC Venica 2022

Jesera Pinot Grigio Collio DOC is a fragrant white wine produced by the Venica winery. It is obtained from the vinification of Pinot Grigio grapes only, a locally widespread variety that is recognized for the pink nuances it gives to the wine. By virtue of its mineral composition, the substrate gives nourishment to the vines, which grow luxuriantly and give life to grapes of great finesse. At the beginning of September the harvest takes place with manual selection of the bunches. Once in the cellar, the grapes are subjected to a quick cold maceration on the skins and then divided into two lots. Fermentation takes place for 90% in steel tanks, while the remaining 10% ferments inside large wooden barrels. The same subdivision is maintained for the refinement phase, which extends for a period of 5 months up to the blending and bottling. Jesera Pinot Grigio Collio DOC is a white that can be appreciated immediately, as well as after 2-3 years of further evolution.
