Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

Aglianico Jugano Paestum PGI is a refined and elegant red wine, made by the San Salvatore company. The place of production is located in the province of Salerno, precisely in the towns of Paestum and Capaccio. At the base of the wine there is 100% pure Aglianico grapes, which grow on espalier vineyards located in an excellent area for the development of grapes. The soil is rich in clayey and calcareous components, as well as having a favorable sun exposure and a Mediterranean climate. The harvest involves the selection of the best Aglianico grapes, which are selected manually and then pressed. Fermentation begins in large steel tanks, where the wine can macerate on the skins. The refinement is prolonged and provides for 12 months of aging, of which 80% in French oak barriques and the remaining 20% again in steel before final blending. Aglianico Jugano Paestum PGI is rich and intense and lends itself to immediate consumption, although it can also be tasted after a few years.
