Lagrein 'Bottega Vinai' Trentino DOC Cavit 2019

Lagrein Bottega Vinai Trentino DOC is an elegant red wine from the renowned Cavit winery. It is obtained from the vinification of only Lagrein grapes, a native dark berry variety characterized by an unmistakable colour. The reference vineyards are located in Vallagarina and in Val d'Adige. Thanks to the variety of mineral composition of the soil substrate, which ranges from a prevalence of limestone and clay to dolomite stone, the vines find the necessary nourishment right up to the harvest, with manual selection of the bunches. The vinification begins with the alcoholic fermentation of the grapes, with maceration on the skins in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Refinement follows which involves two distinct phases: first the wine remains for about a year in French barriques, and then rests for another 6 months in the bottle. Excellent immediately, Lagrein Bottega Vinai Trentino DOC can be enjoyed with great satisfaction even after 3-4 years of careful storage.
