Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Morellino di Scansano DOCG Lohsa red wine from the Poliziano winery is produced using 85% Sangiovese grapes and Ciliegiolo grapes for the remaining 15%. With over 50 years of winemaking tradition behind it, this farm has now become one of the best Tuscan realities and a point of reference in the production of wines. All this thanks to a perfect combination of craftsmanship and technological innovation. The hills around Montepulciano, thanks to the fertility of the soils and the ideal climate, provide grapes of excellent quality. A winery with a long tradition also owes its success to the production cycle. This is followed carefully right from the harvest which begins only when the bunches are fully ripe. After fermentation, the wine is matured in French oak barrels before aging in the bottle. Thus a robust and full-bodied wine is obtained, rightly tannic, with a perfect aftertaste that lends itself to being consumed in company, in combination with precious red meat dishes.
