The Mendola Fiano Salento IGP wine is a terroir white of considerable interest, proposed by the Conti Zecca winery, a production reality, which has inhabited the lands of Leverano, in Salento, for five centuries with the utmost respect for the environmental balance, giving to truly unique wines enthusiasts. This label takes shape from the vinification of pure Fiano grapes, the fruit of vines grown in medium-textured soil with areas that tend towards calcareous. With several national and international awards, including that of the prestigious Slow Wine guide, this white is the result of a meticulous harvest. After harvesting, the bunches are transferred to the cellar, where they are first destemmed and then softly pressed. The fermentation process in steel follows. Finally, the Mendola Fiano Salento PGI ages in cement tanks. The final product is a rich white with a savory sip. At sight it is straw yellow with greenish reflections, with an intense aroma with notes of fruit, Rich, savory, intense, it does not go unnoticed. A commendable label, for a wine that stands out for its long final persistence.
