Among the South Tyrolean vineyards stands this avant-garde Maison, linked to tradition but open to modernity. The climate of the region is ideal for the vines: the Dolomites protect from the Atlantic frosts, the Mediterranean Sea mitigates the northernmost wine-growing area of Italy. As the name suggests, this wine is entirely produced with Moscato Rosa grapes. They are harvested when fully ripe and left to dry for six weeks; a short maceration on the skins follows, soft pressing and fermentation in small wooden barrels at cellar temperature for about two-three months. Athesis Moscato Rosa Alto Adige DOC is a sweet, intense, pleasant and drinkable wine. It is undoubtedly ready to drink, but its characteristics allow it to refine if carefully stored.
