'Nussbaumer' Gewurztraminer Alto Adige/South Tyrol DOC Tramin 2021

The Gewürztraminer Nussbaumer from the prestigious South Tyrolean winery Tramin is a terroir white, an excellent standard bearer of the land and of South Tyrolean enology. An elegant wine, which emerges for its beautiful evolution, left to rest in the cellar for a few years is able to give the palate overwhelming taste notes. The name of this typical wine embodies the peasant culture of the area: Nussbaumer is in fact the denomination of one of the oldest farms in Termeno. Gewürztraminer Nussbaumer is a successful white that has obtained several national and international awards, including the 5 glasses of the Bibenda Guide. This label takes shape from grapes harvested by hand between the end of September and the end of October. After harvesting, crushing, maceration and soft pressing follow, after which the must ferments slowly in steel. Subsequently the wine is aged for 11 months on the lees in the same fermentation containers, finally it is bottled. Before being marketed, however, it still ages for 3 months in glass. The result is an aromatic, fresh, soft and balanced label, a white wine with a savory sip that does not leave one indifferent.
