The Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne produced by the historic Antinori cellar is a prestigious red wine, the result of the vinification of 100% Sangiovese grapes. The Sangiovese vines planted in the south-eastern area of Montalcino, more precisely in the Pian delle Vigne estate, are grown on land at an altitude of approximately 130 meters above sea level. The Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne comes from a meticulous choice of grapes, which must be absolutely intact in order to be vinified. After the harvest, rigorously carried out by hand, the grapes are softly pressed, the must is then transferred to steel tanks, where the fermentation process takes place at a controlled temperature for 21 days; after which it is transferred into large oak barrels, where the fermentation process continues and the maturation process begins which lasts for a period of about 2 years; after which the wine is bottled, but before being placed on the market it is still refined in the bottle. This refined and prestigious Brunello combines the typical structure and the remarkable body with an uncommon harmony, balance and elegance. A sumptuous wine.
