The Pinot Bianco Sanct Valentin from the San Michele Appiano cellar is the expression of the most important grape variety in the cellar and this bottle is one of its most precious jewels. Pinot Blanc, the symbol of Trentino Alto Adige, is a vine highly appreciated abroad for its elegant character and for its structure rich in nuances of taste that give complexity to the drink.
The San Michele Appiano winery is an example of a quality wine cooperative, known throughout Italy for its excellent production; today it has about three hundred and seventy members who cultivate almost four hundred hectares of vineyards. It is a historic brand of South Tyrolean winemaking, its foundation dates back to the early twentieth century, as evidenced by the beautiful Art Nouveau structure. The latter is now flanked by a modern wing, built at the behest of director Hans Terzer, functional and with a futuristic design, thanks to which the cellar won the best cellar in Italy award in 2000.
The Pinot Bianco Sanct Valentin combines the refinement of the grapes that compose it with the undisputed mastery of the experience of San Michele Appiano. A white wine that intrigues with its straw reflections, conquers the eye, but even more fascinates the sense of smell with fine fruity sensations. These sensory promises are also kept at the time of tasting when it fully reveals its character. It is full-bodied and rich, without ever losing its innate elegance.
