Poggio alle Gazze Tenuta dell'Ornellaia is an energetic, fresh and full-bodied white wine, extremely versatile at the table. Obtained mainly from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, with a smaller percentage of Vermentino, Verdicchio and Viognier, this wine undergoes an initial fermentation in steel, then in barrique and finally in cement. After an aging of 12 months in the bottle, Poggio alle Gazze is ready to offer elegant and expressive sips. The Ornellaia estate was founded by the Marquis Lodovico Antinori in 1981 and today represents one of the most excellent production realities in the Bolgheri area. The main production is that of red wines, but Poggio alle Gazze wanted to be the lucky "white" challenge that the company has undertaken for some years with considerable success. The defense of quality at all costs is the philosophy that unites all the wines produced by Tenuta Ornellaia and Poggio alle Gazze is no exception. From the cultivation of the grapes to the harvest, up to the vinification and bottling, no detail is left to chance, in order to obtain a well-structured wine with a complex aromatic profile.
