'Primo Bianco' Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Mesa 2022

The Primo Bianco Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is born on the rolling hills of Sulcis, a complete expression of a land kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind. The Mesa winery is located in Sant'anna Arresi, in a valley sheltered from the mistral wind and surrounded by the typical rural villages that dot south-western Sardinia. In Sardinian, the term "mesa" indicates the table and in fact the production of the cellar is a clear declaration of love for Sardinia and in particular for the Sulcis Iglesiente. Primo Bianco Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is obtained from Vermentino grapes harvested in early September on mainly sandy soil. The bunches are treated with the utmost respect, so much so that the use of mechanical pumps is banned and the grapes are moved by natural fall from the highest floors of the cellar to those below. After refinement in the underground rooms and 2 months of maturation in the bottle, this young, ready-to-drink wine can accompany the most refined aperitifs and reveal the treasures of its land of origin.
