'Réserve della Contessa' Terlaner Bianco Alto Adige DOC Manincor 2022

La Réserve della Contessa from the Manincor company is produced with grapes from two areas: Lieben Aich in Terlano and Castel Campan. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 300 and 500 meters. The slopes, on which the rows wind, enjoy excellent south-south/east exposure and excellent temperature ranges. The soils of the Terlano estate are sandy and volcanic in nature, while those of Castel Campan are characterized by clayey-limestone morainic deposits. The grapes are harvested (Pinot Bianco 60%, Chardonnay 30%, Sauvignon Blanc 10%) by hand in order to preserve the integrity of the grapes which are left to macerate for 6 hours in the press. This process favors the extraction of the characteristic aromas. Then follows the fermentation in wooden barrels. The Réserve della Contessa is aged for 9 months in contact with the lees before bottling. The wine has a pleasant and ready to drink. However, by virtue of its complex structure it can be left to rest in the cellar for many years.
