Riesling Trentino DOC Pojer and Sandri 2021

Riesling Trentino DOC is a mineral white wine produced by the Pojer e Sandri winery, a faithful interpreter of the Dolomite terroir. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Riesling grapes, a vine native to Germany which is capable of giving extraordinary results in this appellation. The plots of reference are located near Faedo and are located between 350 and 750 meters above sea level. Thanks to the volcanic substrate rich in marl and limestone, the grapes acquire a marked finesse. Once fully ripe, the bunches are carefully selected by hand to be transported to the cellar. Here a soft pressing takes place, followed by temperature-monitored alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Even for the refinement the company favors the use of steel vats, where the wine rests until the spring following the harvest. Riesling Trentino DOC is a ready-to-drink white that fully expresses its potential shortly after bottling.
