Riesling 'Vigna Castel Ringberg' Alto Adige DOC Walch Elena 2020

The white wine Vigna Castel Ringberg Alto Adige / Sudtirol DOC Riesling from the Walch Elena winery is one of the finest wines in the cellar, able to best express the territory of origin. To obtain this wine, only Riesling grapes are used which come from a hilly plot on top of which there is an ancient castle. The vineyards are located at an average height of 400 meters above sea level, on dolomitic rock, which together with the mild climate allows for perfect ripening of the grapes. The production disciplinary of the white wine Vigna Castel Ringberg Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC provides for a soft pressing after the harvest and the must obtained goes through a static settling. We then proceed to fermentation in steel barrels at a temperature of 18 degrees and maturation takes place on the lees for several months, before proceeding with bottling. The result is a well-structured, balanced and refined wine, fresh to drink, also intended for excellent ageing.
