Its characteristics of finesse and elegance emerge first of all: the wine of Etna is graceful, salty, mineral, with medium acidity, but with silky tannins and strong balsamic and Mediterranean scrub tones. It is never a muscular or too intense wine, on the contrary it is austere and subtle. Herbaceous, spicy and red flower notes add further elegance. In a word: extraordinary. Other important players in the rediscovery of this very suitable area with very ancient oenological origins are Nerello Cappuccio, the whites Carricante and Minnella.
