    We could define the Rosso di Montalcino as the little brother of Brunello , this very interesting wine that offers many advantages: first of all, there is the use of 100% Sangiovese as for Brunello, but also starting from grapes from younger vineyards than those used for Brunello; thus a new style is created, fresher, less demanding and with fewer nuances due to the aging in wood , providing for the disciplinary of the Rosso di Montalcino wine for only one year of aging of which six months in wooden barrels. It is an intense ruby red wine, appreciated for its intense and complex aromas of black cherries and berries, with tertiary notes of spices and vanilla due to the aging in wooden barrels. As we said, compared to Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino is fresher and easier to drink, while maintaining the character and structure of Sangiovese, reflecting the territory; let's not forget that we are in the heart of Tuscany, in one of the most suitable areas in the world for the production of wine.
