Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Fresh and full-bodied wine, the Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC from the Kettmeir winery is a white wine produced with 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The production area is located in Alto Adige, in the municipalities of Salorno and Caldaro. The vines are planted, partly with the espalier type and partly with the pergola type, halfway up the hill, at an altitude between 350 and 600 metres. The soil is clayey-limestone with the presence of organic substances. The harvest, with the manual method, takes place from mid to late September, then the vinification takes place in white through a short maceration on the skins at temperatures of about 5/6° C in order to extract the varietal aromas, while the fermentation and the refinement takes place in large steel tanks at carefully controlled temperatures. Pleasant in all respects, Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC is a ready-to-drink wine, with a fresh and persistent, herbaceous, elegant, sharp flavour.
