'Se' Primitivo Salento IGT Gianfranco Fino 2020

The name of Primitivo 'Es' by Gianfranco Fino is, in itself, the premise for what can be the tasting of a great Apulian red wine. The company's adventure starts with the purchase of a small two-hectare piece of land on which sapling vines aged between fifty and seventy years were planted. A starting point that has become the springboard for the production of a red wine that has become famous throughout the world, positioning itself at the highest quality levels in a very short time. The work in the vineyard and in the cellar is carried out according to ancient dictates which guarantee the maintenance of the identity of the native Apulian vine. The Primitivo 'Es' is able to bring out unique emotions. Sip after sip, all the pleasure is perceived. Softness, elegance and noble tannins express the rigorous work of the cellar which begins in the vineyard and ends with the rest in the barrique. The secret of its extraordinary qualities lies in letting the bunches wither slightly on the vine before harvesting.
