Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Superiore DOC "Spelt Oro" is an elegant white wine from Fattoria La Valentina, founded in the early 1990s in Spoltore, not far from Pescara. The company is based on a very specific objective, namely that of creating products linked to its territory in total respect for the environment. Human intervention in nature is reduced to a minimum, so that the final result is completely healthy and genuine. In line with the philosophy of the winery, native vines are used, in this case Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, from which the wine in question takes its name. The ripening of the grapes is favored not only by the climatic conditions and the altitude of the area above sea level, but also by the clayey nature of the soil. Fermentation takes place in contact with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks; the refinement takes place in similar containers, which lasts four months and gives the Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Superiore DOC "Spelt Oro" a remarkable balance of flavours. This white has a full and rich body and is characterized by a persistent, slightly savory finish.
