Description
The Mattia Vezzola Classic Method Spumante is produced at the Costaripa winery in Moniga del Garda. The family-run company boasts the production of labels that best express all the uniqueness of the territory. The grapes come from Chardonnay vines, grown on soils exposed to the South/East rich in limestone and gravel. After harvesting, the bunches are transported to the cellar to undergo soft pressing, followed by alcoholic fermentation, half of which takes place in steel containers and the other in white oak barrels. After resting on the lees for 8 months, refermentation takes place according to the principles of the Classic Method. The refinement takes place on the lees for a good 60 months and finally we proceed with the disgorgement. Mattia Vezzola Spumante Metodo Classico is an elegant and balanced wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but it can certainly evolve in the cellar for a few years.
