'Stellato' Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Pala 2022

Stellato Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is a fresh and fragrant white wine made by the Pala winery, which is one of the main interpreters of the island's winemaking tradition. The label is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Vermentino grapes, a very common variety in Sardinia as well as in Tuscany. The typical cultivation systems of the area are adopted on the vineyards owned by the company, which help the vines to derive the maximum benefit from environmental factors up to the time of the harvest. In the cellar, the vinification begins with the soft pressing of the grapes, which are then placed to ferment spontaneously in large stainless steel tanks. In the same containers the wine remains in contact with the fine lees for about three months for the refinement phase. Stellato Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is a white wine that can be enjoyed with satisfaction immediately, or after a couple of years of further rest in the cellar.
